Marketing

GIMG’s Marketing team provides the opportunity to be directly involved with executing promotional activities and networking events for our organization, gaining valuable capabilities through practical experience. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to develop their marketing skills while working closely with our Executive Board on event planning, promotions, and shaping our image. If you are someone who would want to make a visible impact on our organization and acquire beneficial marketing and promotional expertise, then we would love to have you as a part of our team!

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design flyers, posters, and digital content promoting GIMG events

  • Manage GIMG social media accounts and maintain GIMG website

  • Plan and host internal and external networking events

  • Promote GIMG’s brand image and maintain its brand reputation

Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated interest in marketing or previous marketing experience is highly preferred

  • Working knowledge of or strong willingness to learn graphic design

  • Past video production/graphic design experience is a plus

  • Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills

  • Effective team player

  • Must be familiar with operating social media platforms logistics (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)

  • Must be enrolled on Main Campus


Community Involvement

GIMG’s Community Involvement team is looking for enthusiastic students who want to organize innovative experiences for local Atlanta high school students on behalf of GIMG. Our team provides the opportunity to develop strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. All team members will be granted equal and full access to our internal educational sessions and alumni network. We are looking for individuals who are truly passionate about making a positive impact in the community and are also dedicated to their professional and personal growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design a financial literacy curriculum for local Atlanta public high school students

  • Train all GIMG members on the curriculum

  • Host events with each partner school at least once per semester

  • Create and implement interactive learning activities

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous involvement in community service initiatives or volunteering preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong planning and organizational skills

  • Eager to learn and succeed in a relationship-oriented team environment

  • Commitment to deliver the best results on every project on time while being proactive and resourceful

  • Must be enrolled on Main Campus
